Oleandri Resort is truly a family friendly resort set in lush green surroundings. Oleandri has among other things a nice big green pool area where the kids can enjoy as well as the parents reading their books and soaking up the sun.
There is also a small children's play area with a couple of swings and slides. When the sea temperature is acceptable, just a walk across the road through a small piece of pine forest and you arrive at a big beautiful sandy beach. The hotel has its own private area and a small beach restaurant. You eat very well at Oleandris restaurant serving typical regional dishes and the service is friendly.

The region's exciting attractions are only about 5 km away, for instance the ancient temples of the Greeks' time, and in the South there is a very beautiful marine nature reserve. Take a trip by boat from one of the small port cities and enjoy the silence of the nature.
Upon arrival at the hotel/apartment, we were very excited to find out, if the place was as nice as the pictures. The reality completely lived up to the pictures: super lovely, where much focus was given to the decoration; i.e. flowers, crocks, cushions.... etc.
The apartment was also spacious, when you take into account, that you don't spend that much time indoor. Only downside to the apartment was, that the kitchen wasn't very well-equipped. There were no coffee maker/cafetiere or electric kettle, so we had to buy instant coffee and boil the water in a pot - a bit difficult. There were no bowls/dishes, so everything had to be served in portions at lunch and dinner - again a bit difficult. Neither were there any dish brush/sponge or liquid soap.
We didn't book breakfast/lunch or dinner from home, so when we chose to eat at the restaurant in the evening, we couldn't get a table until 9. A bit late, but okay since our children aren't small anymore.
The staff is super friendly and very accommodating, and that goes for everyone from the cleaning staff, waiters, bartender and receptionists.
