Although Pogerola is only a few minutes drive from the busy and very popular and larger Amalfi, it remains a quiet town which is why many Amalfi residents have chosen to move here.
If you want to get away from the crowds of tourists, yet be just a stone's throw from Amalfi town and the coast, then Pogerola is an excellent alternative. If you appreciate a walk in the mountains, then you can reach Amalfi town on foot by following the path down the mountain.

The only thing that could disturb the otherwise idyllic small town and its lovely views, are the not so charming concrete buildings located off one of the hillsides around the town. If you have sensitive ears, you can also feel disturbed by the church bells that strikes every quarter of an hour. In addition, this is a really nice place to spend your holiday in peace and quiet with fine views overlooking the Amalfi Coast.
