Hotel Le Sirenuse is repeatedly voted one of the best hotels in the world and pampers you with superb service, exceptional discretion and a delicious restaurant. Not to mention the views and stunning location on the Amalfi coast!

A noble palace

You will appreciate a special atmosphere at this wonderful hotel largely because of its interesting history. It is housed in a historic noble palace that dates back to the 1800's and belongs to the Merchesi Sersale family. They decided to turn their summer residence into a hotel in 1951 and share the beauty of this beautiful building and location with the public, starting with just six rooms. It is a blissful and romantic setting for couples and for that reason we cannot recommend it to families with children.

You will feel like a guest of a private family

The hotel now has many more rooms including suites but it does not change the fact that you feel like a guest of the family, than as a guest at a hotel. It is still the family's antique furniture and paintings that characterize the device and which provide the unique atmosphere that makes many return again and again. This style is as far as possible maintained everywhere in the hotel, including the rooms.

A popular hotel amongst celebrities

One of the first prominent guests who found their way to the hotel was the author John Steinbeck. He was there in 1953, and wrote, among other things: "We went to the Sirenuse, an old family house converted into a first class hotel, spotless and cool with grape arbours outside the dining room, and every room has a little balcony that looks out over the blue sea across to the island of the sirens from where those ladies sang so sweetly .... " Since then, celebrities have flocked to Hotel Le Sirenuse, which is therefore named after the sirens, that according to legend lured Odysseus astray when he crossed the archipelago Le Isole dei Galli with his men.

Exquisite service, fine dining and sumptuous amenities

Hotel Le Sirenuse is known for its exquisite service and unique discretion and although the villa is located in the center of Positano, you feel like you are in your own little world. You can enjoy the following unique features:

- Michelin star Restaurant: You can dine in style at the hotel's restaurant - La Sponda (Michelin star) which is lit at dinner with four hundred candles creating an unforgettable romantic atmosphere. The cuisine is as divine as the atmosphere, based on fresh ingredients inspired by the Mediterranean tradition.

- Total Relaxation & Pamper: During the day you can make the most of the hotel's wonderful pool and terrace and also a number of special treatments in the Spa using AVEDA's aromatic essential oils, natural products and techniques.

Beautiful, classic and comfortable rooms

The rooms and suites are decorated with much elegance and style in a very classic way. They have all the comforts that you would expect from a hotel of this category. Among other things, all rooms have a Jacuzzi, and superior rooms and junior suites have balconies and sea views.
