Although the position of the hotel is really panoramic and every body will love it, be aware that it is set in the hillside. There are quite a few steps to climb before you can access the hotel and all its amenities. So for the ones that have difficulties in walking, take note! Praiano is less striking and offers a more peaceful experience at cheaper rates for those that want to explore the Amalfi area by car. The town is spread out over a long stretch of coastline and has a small and picturesque beach.
If you are an active person and like to go on hikes, there a various paths allowing you wonderful panoramas over the coastline. In front of the hotel you can find a bus stop taking you to the neighbouring villages. Close to Hotel Villa Bellavista you can find three beaches where you can swim and relax. All these beaches are quite spectacular and can be reached on foot. Two of the beaches are facilitated by restaurants and beach bars. Boat trips are organised from the hotel for island trips to Capri and the Grotta dello Smeraldo.
The position and the view are the best you can imagine but what about good and warm family hospitality? Imagine waking up with the view and start with a breakfast buffet out on the terrace, zip your cappuccino while you look around and hear the waves smashing on the rocks below you. If you want to enjoy a lazy day, no problem, just lay down on the sunbed next to the small swimming pool. If you run hot, take a dive or refreshment from the bar. Dinner can be enjoyed from the same terrace and meals are typical Mediterranean with fish, pasta’s, salads and meat dishes. The terrace is open and served by the bar until late in the evening. Note that if you come with your own car, parking close to Hotel Villa Bellavista in peak season is not always that easy. It might be that you need to park your car a few hundred meters away from the hotel. In case you require WiFi, this is facilitated free of charge in the public areas of the hotel.
