This recently built homely complex is set in elegant Mediterranean gardens just a short distance from the historic centre of Santa Maria di Castellabate, and approx 500 metres from the sea and beach.
The first impression you will have is a profusion of flowers, swaying palm trees and an incredible peace and quiet, despite the fact that the road is just outside the garden. The setting invites a cosy holiday on the terrace with a good bottle of wine and a book. There is also a very well-kept lawn, and it is clear that the owner takes great pride in everything as it is well maintained and very beautiful.

Residence Halesia is located on the outskirts of Santa Maria di Castellabate, but you can take a short cut down through the town and be in the historic centre, or on the beach in just approx. 5 minutes. You will find a supermarket approx. 50 metres away. There are only 6 apartments in total, and in addition to the garden there is a large private car park on the opposite side behind the buildings.
Here you stay in spacious and nicely decorated apartments with tiled floors from rustic and local materials typical of the Cilento area. All apartments have a private terrace, which are furnished with a table and chairs, a parasol and sun loungers. There are TVs in every apartment and use of air conditioning is payable locally.

- Consists of a living room with two single sofa beds and a kitchenette with a four burner stove, an oven, a washing machine and a fridge, a double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, two terraces, one on each side of the apartment.

- Consists of a living room with a single sofa bed and a kitchenette with a four burner stove, an oven, a washing machine and a fridge, a double bedroom and a room with two single beds, a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, and a terrace.

- Consists of a living room with two single sofa beds and a kitchenette with a four burner stove, an oven, a washing machine and a fridge, a double room and a room with two single beds, two bathrooms with a shower and toilet and a terrace.
I was for the second time in Santa Maria and in Residenz, which i especially will remember for the tranquility despite the central location, less than a 10 minutes walk from the town's centre with a pedestrian street and the wonderful beach in the centre. I had traveled by car, which indeed was tiring, but which also is an advantage to explore the beautiful Cilento. The alternative would be a plane to Naples and then use time at the place to rent a car to be able to reach all the beautiful small and big attractions. Pompeii, Paestum, Palinuro, the Amalfi coast or just to experience the land and people, farms with buffalos, where my beloved mozzarella is produced and nature reserve with its wild beauty.
