The beautiful landscape from the Amalfi coast is best enjoyed from the vantage points up the slopes. Here you live in the high district of Scala, from which the breathtaking views of Ravello goes all the way to Salerno and its bay - in the clearest days right up to the Cilento nature reserve.
Amalfy coast attracts many visitors all year round. They come here to admire the magnificent cathedral and the city's history among the four sea republics (Republiche Marinare) - the others are Pisa, Genoa and Venice. Most of these visitors never reach up to Ravello and for sure not at all the way to Scala. In Scala you will find more quiet and local environment where you as a traveler, can discover if it is a true paradise.
Here you live around 400 meters above sea level and the during the hottest days, you can expect a more pleasant climate than down at the beach. From the edge of your terrace it feels like you are like flying over the landscape, an experience reinforced by the cooling sea wind. The house is equipped with air conditioning and you can always hide under the sunblind in the day's hottest hours, if you do not want to sunbathe at the pool (5 x 8 meters), located in the garden.
The nearest restaurant is only 400 meters from the house. If you want to go to the town hall in Scala you have 1.2 km to go by great narrow paths and stairs. By car it takes slightly longer (2 km). Ravello's beautiful center is 2.8 km from your terrace. You may want to take the bus here, as the bus stop is right by the house. If you arrive by car, ask the owner for a parking permit to the city's blue seats , so you will find it easier to find parking space for your car.
The apartment is tastefully furnished. It comes with air conditioning, wi-fi and a kitchen with oven and microwave. There is no washing machine or dishwasher, so if you do not wish to do the dishes, a good suggestion to dine out and enjoy the good local dishes based on tasty vegetables, fish, seafood and meat from the mountains Monti Lattari behind the city.
This holiday house comes with 85 m² of surface area split up in the living room with kitchen and terrace (about 6 m²) with furniture and sea views, two bedrooms with double bed and bathroom with toilet and shower. Be aware that there is a sloping ceiling in the house and the room height varies from 1.70 / 1.90 meters to 2.9 meters (see floor plan).
