July vacation
We had a nice vacation, but there were a lot of tourists of course. Capri isn't recommendable at that time of the year. All you do is being in a line.
Sorrento as a holiday destination
Small, cosy, manageable town with everything you could wish for. However there weren't any beaches, so make sure to have a pool at the hotel, that's what we did. We happened to see an interesting photo exhibition, so go into all the alleys and courtyards. Sorrento has Danish prices on pretty much everything, shops and restaurants.
We had rented a car, and even though we had an updated GPS, the town was difficult to navigate ind, when we were going for a trip along the Amalfi Coast - but it can be highly recommended, it was very beautiful. We had a stop in Minori, there were a lovely sandy beach, cosy very Italian life, photos on the walls of the town's history and one of the best confectioner's shops in Italy - tiramisu limoncello is highly recommendable.
