Here you stay centrally, and have use of the swimming pool in the garden from where there are sea views towards Naples and Mount Vesuvius from the upper floors.
Located on the main street Corso Italia, it takes approx. 15 minutes to walk to Piazza Tasso, and a little less to get to Sorrento's famous train station Circumvesuviana from where you can take a direct train to Pompeii and Naples. From down in the harbour you can take a boat trip to the beautiful Island of Capri.

There is a lovely garden with citrus trees behind the hotel, and it is also where you find the large swimming pool and the cosy communal terraces. In addition to parking, which is available in the courtyard, there is a reception, a lift, a bar, a snack bar, a restaurant and a large living room with TV.
All rooms are nicely furnished with telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. Most rooms face the garden and / or ocean while those without sea views face the road. The upper rooms have views of the sea, Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

A very lovely hotel with kind staff. Location in the outskirts of Sorrento with a 15 minute walk to the square. Lovely patio where the breakfast is eaten underneath orange and lemon trees. Nice little pool area with well-assorted bar and good service. There's also room at the pool. The dinner can be bought in the hotels restaurant, the food was okay, but no more. The room fresh and clean with a fantastic view of the Naples bay and Vesuvius. Quiet at the hotel and the traffic didn't bother. (Some rooms have a view of the street, and where we will assume the traffic could be bothering.) The traffic at the street outside is very dense, which was a bit annoying when you were going to the centre of the town, due to the often very narrow sidewalk. But there is an alternative way with a little less traffic and wider sidewalks which the hotel recommended us, when we asked for alternatives. We would like to return to Hotel Girasole.
Kind staff, clean and fresh. We had the best view from our hotel room, with view over Vesuvius and Capri. The breakfast was standard continental, with nothing extra. The worst was the small, dark alleyways to the centre.
