And of course it is not just the sea, as far as the eye reaches, it is the Sorrento Peninsula, Pompei and the whole of Naples within your sight. At Hotel Settimo Cielo you can even enjoy sea views from the elevator. The fantastic location means you can stroll into the center of Sorrento at about 900 meters distance.
The panoramic location is complemented by the pool. When you lie at the pool deck, it feels almost like being on board of a cruise ship. The difference is that the hotel doesn't move. The coastal road runs behind the hotel and when the In-Italia crew spend a night there we experienced minor noise from the road. If you want to go down to the Marina Grande and to the beach, there are stairs that lead you down. You have several restaurants within short walking distance, even if you do not want to go all the way to the center of Sorrento. Inside the hotel is a breakfast room, where breakfast is served as a buffet and can be enjoyed either indoors or on the terrace, where you will be distracted by the beautiful views. There is parking on site (surcharges). The location, the pool, the view and balcony are clearly among the hotel's finest, while the standard of the hotel is just middle, very decent yet not flashy.
