This part of the Amalfi Coast is well visited and it is easy to see why, it is so beautiful! To find a setting like this right by the beach and on the edge of town is quite something. When the weather is good you can see all the way to Paestum and Cilento from here.
Receive a warm welcome
The villa was originally privately owned, but over the past few years, parts of it have been converted into a small exclusive rooms and apartments. The place is run by the very welcoming and helpful Ilaria, who has a background as a lawyer - but now puts all her energy into providing guests with an unforgettable holiday experience. The villa is situated on a small very narrow cobbled road that comes to a dead end at the beach.

Terraces with sea views in botanical surroundings
Although the villa is built into the cliffs it is an incredibly fertile area, and when you eat breakfast on the large communal terrace, you feel like you are in a botanical garden. There are many balconies and terraces at the villa and one also gets a feel of being on a cruise ship looking down at the blue sea. One should be aware that there are many stairs here as it has not been possible to install a lift from the road.
Explore... by car or by boat
Situated close to the coastal road and near Vietri, Relais Due is an obvious starting point for excursions in the area. The highway that leads to Naples, Pompei, Salerno, Paestum and Cilento is nearby. From here you can also just as quickly get to the more famous towns on the Amalfi Coast such as Amalfi, Ravello and Positano - and from Salerno there are boat tours of the entire Amalfi Coast, Capri, Sorrento and Naples.
Public transport or by car
We recommend that you arrive by public transport. The roads are narrow and busy on the Amalfi Coast and it is very easy to arrive to Due Relais. You can get the local bus which runs between Amalfi (18 km) and the station in Salerno (7 km) to the coastal road, and then walk the last few metres to Due Relais. If you arrive by car, there are 4 parking spaces on site or a locked parking space 100 m from Due Relais. You cannot be guaranteed a specifik parking space. If your car is a larger model you will automatically be allocated to the parking space 100 m away, the small parking space by Due Relais is only for smaller cars. Alternatively, you can leave your car down town in the blue spaces at a higher price, but parking spaces are few and far between here. NOTE: The location and the many stairs makes this place not recommendable for the disabled and people with mobility difficulties, even though there is a lift in the building - once you get up there!
Your own terrace / balcony with sea views
Daily room cleaning and breakfast is included in the price. Due Relais has two bedrooms and three studio apartments, which are decorated in Scandinavian style and have a furnished balcony / terrace with sea view, TV, air conditioning and a safety deposit box. Note that during high season at the beach there will be a lively atmpsphere from the beach bars and people.
The apartments at Due Relais
The apartment is approx 30 m² and consists of a living room with kitchenette with 4 burner stove and oven in a closet, a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. There is a single bed which can sleep a child or an adult. From the apartment you have access to a terrace with table and chairs from which you have views towards both Salerno and Vietri eastward and Amalfi to the west (but the Amalfi town you cannot see).
Due Relais has two double rooms which are comfortably furnished in Scandinavian style. The room Romeo e Giuletta is on the 1st floor and has a nice balcony facing west (i.e. towards Amalfi, though you cannot see the town itself). The balcony is furnished with a table and two chairs. There is TV, a safety deposit box, a mini-bar and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
Due Relais has two double rooms which are comfortably furnished in Scandinavian style. The room Stanlio e Olio is on the 1st floor and has a nice balcony facing east (ie for Vietri sul Mare and Salerno). The balcony is furnished with a table and two chairs. The room is also equipped with TV, a safety deposit box, a mini-bar and a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
Here you stay at the top of the property in a separate annex with its own garden where you can sit and enjoy the view. The apartment was decorated in 2015 and is markedly different from all the others - it has been Ilaria's intention to create an inspiring and romantic apartment with lots of space and great views. The apartment is approx 35 m² and is on two floors. You enter the ground floor in a room with plenty of space to put the suitcases. A spiral staircase leads up to the floor above, where there is a living room with a large glass door facing the sea, a spacious bedroom, bathroom with shower, hairdryer and toilet. In front of the entrance door in the lower level you can sit and enjoy the sunshine in your private garden with a table and chairs.
The one bedroom apartment is approx. 60 square metres and consists of a kitchen with a 4-burner stove and an oven, a living room with the possibility of sleeping two extra people on sofa beds, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and a bathroom with a bath.
