Lacco Ameno is the smallest region on the island of Ischia.
Here you can find the island’s only archaeological museum, the beautiful San Montano Bay as well as the Negombo spa. There are also some luxurious here hotels that were built in the sixties.
The town’s coat of arms is a rock moulded into the shape of a porcino or cep mushroom. The locals call it ’il fungo’.
