This welcoming country house has an almost meditative quality with its pretty manicured gardens full of fragrant fruit trees and beautiful flower beds surrounding the large swimming pool. The well-stocked and self-sufficient kitchen with ecological principles provides plenty of organic options on the menu and at breakfast time, and welcomes vegetarians.
In the wellness centre you can relax in the sauna, and book a choice of massage and many other treatments for a fee. There is also the lovely outdoor pool where you can swim and relax on the sun loungers in the garden, surrounded by greenery, apples and fig groves. It is located at the end of a small cul de sac, so there is no disturbance from traffic noise. You can also find free parking on site.

The entire holiday was amazing. The staff was super welcoming, the hotel in good shape and the food was really fantastic.
We went with our 1,5-year-old son who rarely sits still, but it was no problem even tough the restaurant was quite "fancy", as the Italian way of doing things is so wonderfully relaxed and child friendly.
The only slightly negative thing I am going to mention is that in Italy people eat dinner very late, and 8 p.m. is the hour when our son is normally put to bed. That meant that we did not finish our meals most nights, although we had prepaid the whole meal from home. The food does not vary much, so after 3 days eating at the resort we needed to try something new.
The only real problem, however, was that no one had told us that there was going to be a wedding at the hotel on the last day of our stay. That meant that there was loud music right outside our window until 1 p.m., so we were quite tired the next day. It would have been nice to at least know this in advance, or perhaps to have been able to move to another room further away from the party.
Pool very clean and nice.
Hotel Villa Belfiore is small paradise. Surrounded by fruit trees, the house and the pool, where you can cool of, is all you need.
The service and food was superb! We were greeted goodbye with big gesture, as we against our will hat to end our holiday. We could have been here forever.
A completely fantastic place. Out in the country. Peace and quiet. The rooms aren't anything special, but that meant nothing to us, even though we were 2 adults and 2 kids (girls aged 4 and 8). The surroundings, mood, FOOD(!), peace, pool. We couldn't ask for more. 5 steps from the pool we could gather the most fantastic nectarines, peaches, plums and apricots. The breakfast was fine but especially the dinner was really good. 20-28 for adults can seem a bit expensive compared to local prices, but the food absolutely met our expectations. Giant antipasti buffet and 2 dishes after. With Villa Belfiore as starting point, we visited Bologna, Ferrara and Lidoen in the east. It is very touristy however with 200m of parasols, you can see before the water.
Beautiful yard - really pretty and fine rooms
Nice staff - and good Italian mood.
