Following some suggestions, both throughout the boot-shaped peninsula and the islands of Sardinia and Sicily.

Agriturismo Bevione in Piedmont: It is a family-run place, located on a small road that runs through the beautiful vineyards of the Langhe wine region with the Alps as "ornaments" on the horizon. The farm is situated in a quiet surroundings and with the most amazing views on the vineyards. The nearest major town from here (10 minutes drive) is appealing Dogliani with an impressive cathedral.

This small agriturismo is renovated by the young, cute couple, Antonella and Davide. They own the place with a total of 21 hectares of land, where they produce fruit, nuts and red wine and last but not least a good Dolcetto Dogliani. Davide operates his own wine cellar where he produces his wine. He loves to take guests around and to let them taste the wonderful grapes. There are four guest rooms on the farm as well as five apartments, each sleeping up to four people.

Fattoria di Castiglionchio in Tuscany: with a large walled courtyard, counting 65 apartments is located in the countryside, three kilometers from the Rosano sull'Arno. The large villa is typically Tuscan and it's tower rising up, so that it can be seen from both the Arno Valley and Vicano.

The farm was once a fortified village, but today it offers rustic apartments and an charmingl stay in the hills at a short distance from Florence (15 km). The farm has a large production of olive oil and wine and both can be purchased at the reception or at the restaurant, which is open two / three nights a week.

Agriturismo Le Querciole in Tuscany: In the banks just off Casciana Terme, this beautiful old farm, has recently been restored in an lovely style. The owner divided it into six spacious apartments. It is difficult to determine is appreciated most here...

And as well for those seeking proximity to a beautiful, unspoiled town.

B> Agriturismo Zio Cristoforo south of Naples: Zio Cristoforo is an exotic southern Italian, country house which offers a variety of in-house production of agricultural products.

Here are goats, cows, horses, pigs, rabbits and chickens are all inhabitants of the agriturismo. Furthermore they produce olives, figs, corn, grains and vegetables. This large production forms the basis for the farm's excellent restaurant where the locals come in large numbers and which others come from far to enjoy the hearty, tasty dishes, washed down with plenty of good local wine. The food is made here as it has been done for generations.

La Collina dei Nebrodi in Sicily: The view from La Collina dei Nebrodi is so beautiful and unique that it is worth the entire trip to Sicily! You live in the midst of nature, without other neighbors than the guests on the spot. If you are fascinated by nature's "noisy" silence, except for the sound of cow bells from the animals that frequent inhabit the area, then you have found a little paradise.

La Collina dei Nebrodi is located at a vantage point 650 meters above sea level and about 5 km from the charming town of San Marco d'Alunzio. The road leading there is narrow and steep, but it is paved and in good condition and the views along the way are absolutely priceless. The house was completed renovated in 2007, after the owners had bought it as a ruin. There are a total of 7 rooms complemented by a reception and a cozy little restaurant with outdoor seating on a covered terrace.
