Be welcomed with open arms and learn about the Comelli family's winemaking traditions. Here they produce both red, white dessert wine and olive oil, and you can of course take a tour and sample them all.
Dine well also
Good wine must come with good food, and the Comelli family restaurant Trattoria Chiosco al Ponte around 4 km away in the small village of Togliano is just the place to find it. During the day, you can burn a few calories by exploring the surrounding woods it is possible to go mountain biking in this area. The nearest town worth visiting is Cividale del Friuli about 8km away and the sea is around 60 km (bathing beaches in the town of Grado).

Enjoy a Jacuzzi and Turkish bath
The apartments are located in a separate building from the main house where the host family lives. Nothing is random and all materials and furniture dates back with a good story. When you arrive you will be given a welcome pack which includes mineral water, milk and a little pasta. On the ground floor is the reception and a "cultural corner" with reading material and excursion suggestions (and internet connection). Wine tasting is held here. The icing on the cake is that in between 16:00 - 20:00 hours you can enjoy the facilities in the wellness centre, take a jacuzzi and a Turkish bath before dinner perhaps?
Stroll down to the pool
You will find the tasteful and stylish pool area just around 30 m from the apartments. Everything has been thought of here; the ample shade that has been provided under the roofed area, the connections for computers and charging mobiles and the comfortable lounge furniture where you can totally relax. Conveniently, you will also find an outdoor shower with a hot water tank powered by solar energy. You can use the WC at the wellness area near the pool instead of having to return to your apartments. The pool is square and you can walk straight into to its sloping entrance.
The apartments at Agriturismo l'Uva e le Stelle
Apartment Eoos is located on the 1st floor of a neighbouring building with its own entrance. It consists of a living room with kitchen (including two ring hob and electric kettle) and one extra bed as a sofa bed, a double bed in the loft and a bathroom with a toilet, hairdryer and shower. There are also LCD satellite TV, possibility of heating, a dishwasher (in this) and stove in the apartment.
Amplius apartment is located on the 1st floor with its own main entrance up from the gallery. It consists of a living room with a kitchen (including two ring hob and electric kettle) and one extra bed as the sofa bed, a double room and a bathroom with a toilet, hairdryer and shower. Also from the bedroom also opens out to the gallery (passing the gallery front apartment Amplius to get to B). There are also LCD satellite TV, possibility of heating and wood stove for the apartment.
Apartment Jaco is located on the 1st floor (next to Amplius) with its own main entrance up from the gallery. It consists of a living room with a kitchen (including two ring hob and electric kettle) and one extra bed as the sofa bed, a double room, a room with two single beds and a bathroom with a toilet, hairdryer and shower. Also from the bedroom it opens out to the gallery (passing the gallery front apartment Amplius to get to Jaco). There are also LCD satellite TV, possibility of heating and wood stove for the apartment. Note that this apartment is best suited for families as you must pass through the bedroom with a double bed to get to the bathroom.
Apartment Casa Sassi is on two floors with a private furnished terrace. It is approximately 90 sq m and consists of a living room with a kitchenette (including fridge, gas hob and oven) and a bathroom on the lower level, while above is a double room with a double bed, a double room with two single beds and a possibility of adding an extra bed included in the price and another bathroom with a toilet, hairdryer and shower. There are also LCD satellite TV, possibility of heating for the apartment.
