Terrazza Paradiso

This was a lovely apartment with an amazing terrace and view. There are 55 steps up to the door and more up to the terrace . Only one dishwasher tablet and no washing up liquid and no washing machine tablets. As an extra 50 euros was due on arrival which we did know about for hire of linen and cl... eaning for a 3 night stay, we thought this a bit mean. Also we had to wait in for our host to arrive and collect this fee.Read more

Villa I Poggioli

From the moment she instantly answered our emailed questions before our stay, we knew Rosella would be an excellent host. She communicated with us a few days before our reservation started, greeted us on arrival with brochures on the region and unobtrusively periodically during the week asked if we ... needed any help or more information. Checking out was simple and Rossella gave us a warm goodbye.

Our apartment was exactly as described on the website. It was sparkling clean and fully equipped. The large terrace at the rear of the house was a Garden of Eden, with our own private spot just outside our door.

Villa I Poggioli is in our experience the perfect location to explore Bocca di Magra on foot and further away by car. The villa is a short walk to the harbor and beach but on a quiet residential street. Carrara is a short drive into Tuscany and La Spezia's main train station is also an easy drive for a visit to Cinque Terre.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at I Poggioli, and highly recommend that anyone considering a holiday in the region take advantage of Rossella's hospitality.

Hotel La Giada del Mesco

Clean and pretty place, not very modern but charming and lovely!
Great terrace and pool area! Stunning view!!

B&B Donna Regina

A great stay at this family home in the heart of Napoli. Signora Gabrielle welcomed us into her house with great hospitality. Previously a convent, the home is now owned by a family who filled the high ceiling passages of the apartment with a selection of beautiful artwork (most are for sale). The b... reakfast (especially the omelettes) prepared by Signora Gabrielle herself was very special - and made us wish we had stayed another evening and booked a dinner with the lady of the house as well. Next time definitely. Will come again!Read more

Due Relais

Due Relais is the perfect location if you're looking for a quite place away from the crazy tourist places at the Amalfi coast. Rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast was nice and the host was perfect and full of useful tips for daytrips.
We enjoyed every minute!

Hotel Leopold

On our second day we had hundreds of ants marching through our room and even in our suitcases! We notified the owner of this problem and all she said was: yes I know, we can't do anything about it because we are in the nature and this happens all the time.
After I threatened to go to another h
... otel because I didn't want to sleep in between the insects, she finally asked someone to clean our room and spray some anti-insect stuff. This only partly solved the problem, since the ants were coming from the electricity openings in the wall.
We decided to stay the remaining nights because it was too much of a hazzle to find another hotel in August that was close to the ocean.

There were some pluses: the view, pool and the fact that it is close by the cinque terre cities.
However, I wouldn't go there with kids. They are very strict when it comes to showering before you enter the pool, do not move the beds etc.

So when you're considering booking this hotel, I would definitely take this into account.
