Morcone has an idyllic location on the island’s southernmost tip and it is renowned for its wide white sandy beach. You can go trekking in the area and feast your eyes on the same view that met Napoleon at the beginning of the 19th century.
Morcone beach is well protected by the Punta Morcone headland. The beach is 400m long and made of sand and small pebbles. It is an ideal beach for families with children and attracts all types of people, however it neves seems too crowded thanks to its length . On the beach of Morcone you find a diving center, windsurf school, boat rental, pedalos, bars and restaurants, as well as a small supermarket.
