If you want to be close to Rome and yet in a rural location, and no more than 25 km from the water, then the farm Riserva dell'Olmo is a good choice of holiday destination.
The farm is 36 km from Rome which is easily accessible by public transport. 3 km from the farm there is a bus stop with buses leaving for Rome every hour. The railway station is 7 km away in Cesano, and a train leaves every 15 minutes for Rome's San Pietro station. The train journey takes approx. 30 minutes. Transport from the farm to Cesano by minibus is charged extra. There are shops, pharmacist and a bar approx. 1.5 km from Riserva dell'Olmo.

Riserva dell'Olmo, which farms 136 hectares, has 8 apartments and a fairly large party/conference room. In the garden around the farm there are tables and chairs, playground, swimming pool and a raised up children's pool.
The apartments are all practically furnished and have colour TV and heating. A washing machine can be hired if booked in advance. Please note that check-in takes place on Saturdays between 14:30 and 20:00. Later arrivals can be arranged but will incur a charge.
