Caprarola is situated in the southernmost part of the Cimini mountains not very far from the Tiber valley.
Caprarola is a nice little town famous for its nuts and cakes. The town has a colourful past with the many wars fought in the Middle Ages between its various noble families. Visitors can experience the wonder of the many historic buildings in the town, and especially interesting is the Palazzo Farnese which sits majestically on a high point at the end of the city.
