The family name 'Cacciani' primarily has a good reputation for their restaurant Ristorante Cacciani and they also run the hotel Hotel Cacciani in the beautiful Art Nouveau building. So you can eat well and sleep well whilst staying in the middle of Frascati overlooking Rome.

As an alternative to Rome itself, so many choose to stay in Frascati to avoid the chaos and at times high accommodation prices. From Hotel Cacciani, it is literally only a two minute walk to the station and you can be at Termini (Rome's main train station) in approximately half an hour on the train. The trains run about once per hour the last one returns at 22:00 - 23:00 pm, so that you can easily enjoy a dinner at one of Rome's innumerable restaurants before heading back to Frascati.
The restaurant, which is also open to outsiders, is dynamic with a professional, welcoming and industrious team. The rooms are light and elegant. As a guest at the hotel you get 10% discount on the menu - alternatively you can choose a two or three course meal at a fixed price incl. a glass of wine (the price stated is for a 2-course). The restaurant organizes cooking classes and wine tastings in their vingrotte (on request). The restaurant is closed Sunday evenings and all day on Monday.
Hotel Cacciani's location meets all conceivable requirements: 1] Close to the train station, but not too close (walking distance). 2] Located on a hill and looking towards Rome, which is an amazing sight at night. 3] Located in the town centre - the entire centre can be reached on foot. 4] You can still arrive by car, as the hotel is located on the border of the environmental zone ZTL.
