At the bottom of the beach, behind the seafront there is an old pine forest, built by Pope Clement IX. During the season, many people from Rome come over to the beach, especially in the weekends. How to get there?

It is easy to get to Fregene with both public transport and private car. From Rome city depart daily buses to Fregenes main square, and get on the A1 motorway, turn off at exit Maccarese-Fregene.
