Gajeta Residence is located opposite the naval harbour just 600 metres from the captivating old town of Gaeta. From the spacious communal terrace at the hotel you can enjoy a great view of the sea and the meandering southern Lazio coastline.
The hotel building itself is at least a few hundred years old and is full of character. It has been recently refurbished with lots of care to retain as many original features as possible thus maintaining the original charm and atmosphere.

This is a great location for those of you wishing to explore historic towns and cities with long and interesting stories and cultural diversity. We should note that the hotel is in a busy central location so some traffic noise here is inevitable. In return you have the chance to experience an interesting city, and shortly outside the city you will also find some really nice beaches, a rocky coastline and bigger cities such as Naples and Rome of course.
You will find an internet point at the hotel, and access to a washing machine, iron and ironing board. you can also order a light meal. When arriving by car, the staff will provide you with a parking permit and instructions for where you can leave your car, and Sylvia who runs the hotel with her husband speaks excellent English.
The apartments are nicely decorated and spacious. They all have a kitchenette, a fridge, a private bathroom with a toilet and a shower, air conditioning, satellite TV and a telephone. Several rooms have a small French balcony and / or sea views. For an extra payment, you can reserve a room with a private terrace or balcony.
