Here at Hotel Duca d’Alba we found ourselves very welcome in an intimate and tranquil setting with good service, quality amenities and super friendly staff. This all complemented with a perfect location in the middle of Monti district.

Monti district is a very lively district

Very lively district with an abundance of good wine bars and lovely trattorias. Furthermore the Forum Romana and Colosseum are located about 300 meters away from the hotel. The Domus Aurea , Piazza Venezia and Campidoglio are based at only a few minutes walking. So enjoy having a stroll around the lively streets in the evening and ask the concierge for the best trattoria around. Famous Italian boutiques and shops are also around corner of your hotel.

The hotel is designed in contemporary style with some classic details. We wouldn’t classify it as luxury but it does have a slight elegancy, providing you the feeling of luxury.
There is a warm and intimate atmosphere with only 27 rooms in total. The service is really up to level and amenities for a small hotel are good. At the concierge you can ask for bike rental, bag storage. There is laundry service and WIFI is available throughout the whole hotel.

Modern, warm rooms

The rooms are equipped with the modern comforts you can expect from a decent 4 star hotel. There are different types of rooms; standard, superior and junior suite. In size they vary from each other. They cover between 12-15 m2 and are not too large. We found the beds very comfortable and soft. The rooms have all been isolated very well in order to keep the city noise and the other side as much as possible. We would not name it completely sound proof though.
All rooms have been furnished in a warm style and come with a minibar, safe, sat TV, telephone, air-conditioning, en – suite bathrooms with bath or shower, hairdryer and complementary beauty products.
