You can find Terrazza Benedetta - a well furnished one bedroom apartment in a charming setting in Rome's Trastevere area.
The apartment is spacious and well equipped and suitable for a couple. Since it is located on the fourth floor without a lift, it is not suitable for people that are not fit, or for those with disabilities. Despite the stairs, it is worth it because the apartment has a lovely terrace with views over the tiled roofs and onto the Piazza della Malva.

1 bedroom apartment - sleeps 2 (4th floor without elevator)
- The apartment consists of an elongated living room with a solid kitchenette (with four-burner stove, oven, refrigerator and a dishwasher) and dining table with accompanying chairs and a sofa with satellite television, a double bedroom and bathroom with shower and toilet. But the best thing of all is the approx. 30 m² in size, very well maintained terrace. It is partly covered and equipped with a nice marble table with chairs, additional chairs and small benches in wrought iron and a lovely view of the neighbourhood tiled roofs (and the little Piazza della Malva).
If you are to live in the apartment on Terrazza Benedetta, be aware that, there is very high up to the 4th floor. The stairway has very high steps and it becomes very sultry in the hot weather - we had 30 degrees each day.
We became fit quickly and have enjoyed every second in the charming apartment on the 4th floor. Everything worked without a hitch.
In the quarter and on the square, lies a lot of restaurants, osterias, bars, etc. Here you eat fantastically well for very little money - and the house wine is always good. There is a baker nearby, a fruit and greens store and a couple of mini-marts on the square, and we also found a supermarket a couple of blocks away. It wasn't so needed, since we went down to eat.
There is a very lively quarter at night. Beer is getting drunk and and conversations are being spoken outside bars every night. It is really enjoyable, and you feel very safe walking around the area at night. If you come home late, be aware that, to get to the front door, you have to go through a group of people having a nice time and chatting.
We are already planning our trip for next year. And if Terrazza Benedetta is available, it is there, we are staying. No doubt.
The apartment is nicely located just near Ponte Sisto in a cosy and vibrant district in Trastevere.
Here is plenty of life with small coffee shops and restaurants. The apartment is on 4th floor and the bedroom os facing the yard, so you're sleep will not be disturbed.
The terrace is so wonderful. You can eat you're breakfast or lunch here, take a nap or have a drink.
The location great within walking distance to Camp dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Lago Argentin.
