Monti is in many ways the most unspoiled popular neighborhood in Rome these days.
The area has a distinctive Roman atmosphere with many small and good restaurants and bars, but it is also typical of the area, that here are many chic cafes. Many of the local young people like to sit around the fountain in Piazza Santa Maria a Monti with a beer in hand. The apartment is on the fourth floor (no elevator) in one of the most characteristic and lively streets in the area, Via Leonina. It is quite simple in its styling, and it has a good terrace.

2 bedroom apartment - sleeps 4/6 (4th floor without elevator)
- The apartment consists of a living room with a sofa bed for two people, a kitchen (4 burner stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher), a bedroom with twin beds and en suite bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a double bedroom and another bathroom with a shower and a toilet. From the lounge there is access to the apartment's terrace. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and washing machine.
Ideal apartment for a family with 2 children. Ideally placed and calm. To small minuses: None of the lamps on the terrace worked, so we couldn't eat outside on the terrace in the evening, and the queues in front of the dryers were so long, that we had to buy clothes-pegs, so we could hang our clothes on our own. Otherwise a really lovely apartment well equipped.
We were pleased for this fun roof apartment with a lovely terrace
This we can say was good:
The placement of the apartment in the near of a metro station
Neighborhood with a lot of place to go for dinner
Silence at night
All the technical stuff is functional; aircon, water, toilets
Great wifi connection
Missing:
coat hooks
a closet for hanging up clothes
proper chair which support the back
If they improved just a bit it would defiantly be a place we would return to and they would fully be entitled to a 4 star
Not good if you physically disabled - but that also counts for the entire Rome
