This is a pleasant apartment in Via del Pellegrino between the famous Campo de'Fiori and Palazzo Farnese. You stay close to Rome's city centre, a few steps from most attractions and the Tiber river, with many restaurants and good shopping opportunities to suit all budgets nearby.
1 bedroom apartment - sleeps 2/4:
- The apartment is approx. 60 m² and is located on the fourth and top floor of the building (there is no lift). It is nicely decorated with wood-beamed ceilings. However, one must be aware that the apartment has very sloping ceilings and rather low beams throughout because of it's location in the attic. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, independent heating and flat-screen TVs, and it has a nice terrace with views of Rome.

The apartment consists of living room with a kitchenette (4 gas rings, fridge and microwave) and a double sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with toilet and bath/shower.
Great location, beams a problem, but shower problematic: not enough pressure and doesn't keep the temperature. Even though there was a paper on it in the flat that told us how to connect to the free WiFi in Rome , it never worked. Il ragazzo who opened the flat for us realised that there was no light in the corridor, but we never got a replacement (even though we asked). There were instructions on the door about rubbish collection in Rome using a special blue bag, a white bag and a brown bag, but there were none in the cupboard. Franca, the cleaning lady told us to dump it all in a black bag, including wine bottles!
The apartment is located just perfectly within walking distance to what we consider as the centre of Rome. Close to the fantastic Trastevere with small alleys, cheap and expensive dining places after own choice and in the opposite direction as the touristic sights: Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia and Pantheon.
It is seriously meant in the description of the apartment, this is absolutely not for people with weak legs and highs. I'm only 164 cm, but I got a scratch in the forehead because of the wooden beam the first night, even though we know the 'be aware-places', since we have lived in this apartment 3 times before.
The kitchen equipment is a bit sparse, but ok for simple meals. Bring your own tea towels!
