The apartment has a great location. The terrace is superb with a beautiful view.
The apartment need a bit of all-around cleaning in the corners. The freezer needs to be defrosted!

Great location, beams a problem, but shower problematic: not enough pressure and doesn't keep the temperature. Even though there was a paper on it in the flat that told us how to connect to the free WiFi in Rome , it never worked. Il ragazzo who opened the flat for us realised that there was no light in the corridor, but we never got a replacement (even though we asked). There were instructions on the door about rubbish collection in Rome using a special blue bag, a white bag and a brown bag, but there were none in the cupboard. Franca, the cleaning lady told us to dump it all in a black bag, including wine bottles!
Great restaurant 2 doors down, pricey, but good. Draft book, across the street, very loud music, but good WiFi.
Go to Villa Adriana, Hadrian's summer palace, 30 km. out of Rome, bus 64 to Termini ,metro, then Bus to stop 2km before Tivoli, can be a hassle on a Sunday, but well worth the trouble: over 1 km2 of lakes, baths, picnic grottes, palace rooms, guest quarters, kitchens etc. all in ruins, 2000 years old.
Go to Vatican museums on a weekday, but not Monday, the queue is shorter (or use fast track for the Tourist Information on the Vatican square.)

The apartment is located just perfectly within walking distance to what we consider as the centre of Rome. Close to the fantastic Trastevere with small alleys, cheap and expensive dining places after own choice and in the opposite direction as the touristic sights: Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia and Pantheon.
It is seriously meant in the description of the apartment, this is absolutely not for people with weak legs and highs. I'm only 164 cm, but I got a scratch in the forehead because of the wooden beam the first night, even though we know the 'be aware-places', since we have lived in this apartment 3 times before.
The kitchen equipment is a bit sparse, but ok for simple meals. Bring your own tea towels!
Nice and cheap meals at Piazza Renzo i Trastevere and on the corner of Piazza Cancelleria
