A small town by the Ligurian coast famous for its lovely beaches and green areas with cherry trees and chestnut woods, quaint shopping streets and various historical monuments.
Alassio is a cosy, yet lively seaside resort with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and fashionable pizzas. It also has a pleasant promenade adjoining the 4km of long sandy beach which is child friendly and safe.
Of historical interest, there is an ancient town gate that has been tiled and autographed by various celebrities over the years. In the town is ''the old Street" which runs through the town parallel to the sea and here you can enjoy some great shopping days.
