Lerici with its 5000 inhabitants is scenically very interesting: on the one hand you find the river Magra, which has its delta at the villages of Bocca di Magra and Fiumaretta di Lerici - both of these villages are very charming and have sandy beaches (both with the blue flag). On the other side of town you will find Monte Marcello with the very historic town of the same name, which is so privileged by being honoured with a place on the official list of Italy's most beautiful medieval towns.

Discover the medieval town

The medieval town of Lerici is situated high above the sea and is set in a peaceful and well-preserved centre. Here you can enjoy history's silent language - festive and happy days you should not be expect to find here. In return, the town offers a few eating places. The village has both beautiful churches and a fortress - and from both there is a fine view towards the Marble Mountains. When you wander around the narrow, winding streets, there are a number of small piazzas that pop up here and there. here are a few eating places and so there is a coffee shop on the Piazza della Libertà. Finally, there are several hiking trails in the local area.
