Bogliasco is an independent small coastal town along the Italian Riviera, but none the less is only approx. 15 km from the regional capital and largest Italian port city of Genoa. The town is a classic Ligurian town with facades in all sorts of pastel colours and a nice beach.
The town has a railway station and approx. a dozen eateries. There is also a supermarket and a pharmacy in town. The weekly market is held on a Tuesday in the main square. Tour options are good from here and include: Monte Portofino Natural Park taking in the towns of Portofino, Camogli, Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure. The train from here can also take you in the opposite direction to Genoa.
