The apartments are spread over four floors and consist of a mixture of studio apartments - one room apartments and 1 bedroom apartments. They are tidy and comfortable and several of them have subtle sea views to the side. This town is quieter than the other Cinque Terre towns, so a good night's sleep is more likely here. The apartments share a beautiful newly renovated rooftop terrace with panoramic views to the sea, green mountains and Corniglia city - and it is equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers.

Our apartment was wonderful. Our host, Lydia, was warm and friendly (she speaks some English) and provided everything we needed and more, including home grown lemons and vino! The rooms were modern and brightly decorated and the balcony has fantastic views over the village and part of the sea. The roof terrace, which guests can use, also has beautiful views. Lydia provided lots of information about activities and sightseeing in Cinque Terre. We would not hesitate to recommend Casa Il Carugio to others and would happily go back there ourselves.
