Families will undoubtedly appreciate the swimming pool and children's pool and all this space in a secure area. Within 10 minutes you can be on the sandy beach and have great family days in the sun.
Besides the swimming pool with sun terrace (sun beds) there is also a children's pool attached, a poolside bar where you can buy ice cream, a light lunch, coffee etc, on-site parking (1 space free per apartment) in a common parking area and a garage which can be ordered as an option. There is Wi-Fi internet at the pool area and in the reception but not in the apartments.

You will find competent and well-informed staff at reception. There are also internet points (extra charge) and a lounge with TV. The apartments are located on a hilly terrain, so there may be a few steps inside and out, but all apartments are located on the ground floor.
Residence Borgo Verde are part of a group with two other resorts which own a private beach in Porto Maurizio (a district of Imperia). Here you can enjoy use of parasols and sun loungers either on a daily or weekly basis in the period from about mid May to September. The distance to the beach is approx. 2 km. If you think that's too far to walk to town and to the beach - and do not want to drive around looking for a parking space near the beach then there is a shuttle bus service in the morning and the afternoon between Residence Borgo Verde and beach / town at very reasonable fares. If on the other hand you prefer to walk, there is a pathway to town which takes you there in around 10 - 15 minutes - the trip home obviously takes a little longer, as it is uphill.

Really nice place, which is surrounded by the Italian Nature and is a calm, smaller hotel with apartments.
The staff is smiling and service minded. The place is located right up a mountain side, so you need to count on 20-30 minutes of walking to the beach. The road here is very charming with olive groves and beautiful observation posts. Be aware of the fact, that the road is not suitable for baby carriages and wheelchairs.
The rooms are nice and clean. We wanted to stay in "The Authentic Italy" with a pool and room for children, and we definitely got that at Borgo Verde!! I'm not leaving out a second visit.
It was a little hard to fine because of the small one-way streets, and don't get afraid of the small, steep road :) It leads to a small cosy place with olive groves and view to the Mediterranean. Lovely place where our dog also was welcome (Little extra pay at the place). Clean and nice, with good beds and there was everything you needed to cook. Kind staff. Authentic because of the location and style. Was there in September 2015.
Good and cosy home, a bit far to the beach and town centre, however (steep hill on the way home). Kind staff and good pool area.
