Villa Giada is an apartment complex, located in the mountains behind Imperia, in a former olive grove with lovely views towards the sea and great facilities for families with children.
Family holiday in a relaxed environment
Villa Giada is owned by the lovely couple Sara and Dario, who are also responsible for the daily operation, together with a team of very friendly staff. You will appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the very hospitable people here. The family originally rented out just a few rooms in the big red villa located in the centre of the olive grove (12.000 m²), and later added further villas and housing apartments on different levels in the beautiful grounds, connected by the communal facilities. The place is very suitable for families with children.

2 pools and lots of activities
At Villa Giada the reception is open Mon - Fri 9-12 am + 14.30-19 / Saturday 8-11 am + 14.30-19 / Sunday 9-13 am, there´s a laundry service, a pool area with two pools plus a childrens pool. Please note that it is compulsary to shower before using the pool. You´ll also find a restaurant/pizzeria, a bar and a communal barbecue area, minigolf course, tennis lane, football, basketball, playground and an internet point in the open hours of the reception - or wi-fi (against a fee). There is a parking space for everyone (one car). Mini club for children between the ages of 4-12 years (high season), and live music once a week. Villa Giada also offers a shuttlebus service to and from the beach during the summer season.
Arriving by car
It is only approx.1 km to the beach in a straight line and 2 km to the centre of Imperia. But the road is windy so you can more or less double that distance. The nearest shopping is about 1 km from the resort. The highway passes on an impressive high bridge at a distance of approx. 400 metres, so if the wind blows from the south, it is possible that you will hear the traffic but it's not something that usually bothers people.
Something to write home about..
At Villa Giada you will - besides living in the nice holiday apartments - be able to get close to the Italian way of doing things when you´re on holiday: On top of all the many other facilities on the 12.000 m² grounds of Villa Giada cooking classes are now also being offered - Learn how to make pesto, or Tiramisu, or join a wine- and beer tasting. Bikes are available (rent fee) for you to explore the hills and the coastline. Europes longest coastal biking trail starts at San Lorenzo al Mare and continues for 25 km all the way to Ospedaletti. Villa Giada is in fact a "bike resort", the possibilities are many and varied and the bikes new and well maintained. You can rent bikes - both ordinary and MTBs - with or without a tour guide. They also provide helmets, maps and a childrens seat, should you need one. Rent is on a daily basis, if you book more days, discounts can be obtained. All activities (cooking classes and bike rent) are to be booked directly at Villa Giada upon your arrival.
Apartment's common features
The apartments are all different, and are all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, a kitchen (incl. electric kettle), a bathroom with shower and toilet, a furnished balcony or terrace / garden. The apartments Rosa and Ibiscus have two bathrooms. Since the apartments are located in buildings that were built at different times, the decor varies throughout - but all are constantly renovated and well maintained. The images show various examples but are all from the new generation of apartments - and the consistency of the standard cannot yet be expected to be the same in all the units.
