This town is thought to be one of the most important on this stretch of coast. Apart from the beautiful green surroundings, there is a lot to see for those interested in history and for the tourist, it’s a town with many hidden treasures.

The town has a long promenade which is full of small cafes and restaurants and has a pleasant atmosphere. The town is dominated by a historic defence tower which is located next to the marina.

From Lerici you can see the small islands Palmaria, Tino, Tinetto and the towns of La Spezia and Portovenere. It is also possible to sail from Lerici to the five fishing villages of the Cinque Terre. Just south of Lerici you will find the two villages Fiascherino and Tellaro, both located next to the fantastically beautiful Fiascherino Bay. Other interesting places and sites worth mentioning include River Magra, the historic village of Monte Marcello and finally the beautiful beach of Punta Corvo which can only be reached on foot or via the waterway. At the same time Lerici a good starting point for excursions by car, the nearest motorway exit is just 5 km away.
