There is not a shortage of fresh produce to try here! The hostess can conjure up the most delicious cakes, pies, olive oil, jams etc using the produce from their farm. You’ll find many of these fresh goodies available in the breakfast buffet that you can take on the terrace when the weather is good. If you are interested you can also book a place on a cooking course here and learn to make pasta, pesto and other Italian dishes.
The charming hosts Lorenzo and Valentina offer you a warm welcome to their comfortable house. From the ground floor there is a staircase that takes you up to the first floor where you will find a cosy lounge with a fireplace for guests. The bedrooms are all individually decorated since it is a historic villa dating from the 1600’s with much charm. The rooms are spread over the ground floor, 1st and 2nd floor - and many of the rooms in the villa have beautiful vaulted ceilings. There is no lift on site.
Here you stay in an enchanting setting in the countryside, surrounded by unspoilt nature, just 1.5 km from the sea in Levanto, and 1 km from the shops in the centre of town. The other great thing is the train station is only 700 metres away from where you can be in Monterosso in just 4 minutes. Then on to the other enchanting Cinque Terre towns. You can easily take train rides to the other towns in the evening to find restaurants etc.
The surroundings here are nothing less than relaxing and inviting with many manicured levels of garden with olive trees, roses and other fruit trees. You can even take a Jacuzzi in the garden between the hours of 14:00 – 20:00 from where there is a wonderful view towards Levanto and the sea. Access to the Jacuzzi is free but must be booked in advance. Otherwise it is possible to book a massage treatment (for a fee) during the hours of 16:00 – 20:00. Bicycles are also available to hire for a small fee so you can explore the surroundings and go to the beach on two wheels instead of taking the car. There are also a number of walking trails that you can follow in between the 5 Cinque Terre towns.
