Levanto is strategically placed for those wishing to explore the fashionable and rugged Ligurian coast and lagoon beaches. In the midst of Levanto, a few steps from both the beach and the old town is the historic Hotel Stella Maris. Just 100 metres from the hotel is their second building, called Dependance, with rooms that are neat and tidy, but less antiquated and fabulously decorated and also at a lower price category.
Check-in takes place in the main building on the first floor where the breakfast buffet is also served. The main building is a historic mansion and the breakfast room is finely furnished with much historical character. The rooms in Hotel Dependance are all on the first floor without an elevator. There is a good array of material displayed on information boards regarding sites of interest and activities in the area.
