You will find all this at Costa Morroni, in a peaceful and rural location between Levanto and Monterosso in the beautiful hills of Liguria.

In the area

The train station of Levanto is just 2 km away and one stop on you are in Monterosso (5 mins) and therefore the Cinque Terre is on your doorstep beckoning to be explored. You can choose from a number of charismatic and quaint old towns, with wide sandy beaches with a dramatic hilly backdrop. The Residence Costa Morroni offers shuttle buses to both the centre of Levanto, the beach and the train station four times daily so you never need to drive around looking for a parking space in the busy towns. There is a restaurant just 1 km from the residence that also makes pizza. Note that the general environment is beautiful and pleasing to the eye - but shortly before Costa Morroni is a warehouse that is not so beautiful, but it does not produce any noise.

Pool and many other facilities

Residence Costa Morroni sits on a slope with the parking lot at the bottom, the apartments in the centre and the pool and common terrace at the top. The swimming pool is not huge but is very welcoming and is used only by the 12 apartments on site. It has a location from where you can gaze out over the Ligurian hills and a nearby quaint old village church. There are naturally sun loungers and parasols, and other interesting amenities include a bar, outdoor fitness corner, table tennis, a playground, Wi-Fi on the common terrace, laundry facilities, a barbeque area, a garden, communal terrace with sun loungers and views and 1 free parking space for each apartment.

For the active ...

At Residence Costa Morroni it is possible to rent bikes (for an extra fee) - please contact us in advance to be sure that the bikes are reserved for you. As an alternative to two-wheels, you can avail yourself of the area's rich network of hiking trails and go for a refreshing stroll. In addition to the pay to enter path between Monterosso and Riomaggiore, which is beautiful, but also very popular, we can recommend the free and less crowded (but equally breathtaking) hiking trail between Levanto and Monterosso. There is a further route which originates from the site, and circulates in the community.

Holiday on Costa Morroni.

We have enjoyed 13 days on Costa Morroni. We thought that we had gotten the best room with 2 big terraces with tiles. (Room number 4.) Nice place to be, and within walking distance to Levanto. Around 45 min walk, and 10 min in car.
Your ad said that there was a pizzeria 500 m from the place. That isn't correct. It lies 1,2 km from the place. But quite fine place to eat, with a huge selection of pizzas. Likewise it also said that there is a shuttle transport from the place. That is also correct. Do note that transport costs 3 euros per person to Levanto, and 5 if you wish a ticket back and forth.
The area is fantastic. We visited all 5 towns in Cinque Terre by train and hikes between the towns. A lovely and relaxing holiday. But beware of thief's on the train. We unfortunately lost our wallet with cash, credit card and drivers license.
If you are used to peace and quiet, when you aren't on trips, the place can be recommended.

Lack of enjoyability, far from everything.

Your own recommendation of this place sadly didn't meet our expectations.
"You will get a sense of receiving in bag and sack..." you write on your website...
BUT we don't remember ever staying at a less charming place. Lies far from everything, the nearest neighbour lies a timber down the road.
Absolutely no cosiness in a small garden with 2,5 meter tall hedge and 2 m of earth which should represent a small lawn.
Absolutely no view. Very cheap kitchen equipment. Ants multiple places. Shower hose and head was really worn down, so you had to hold it over your head and you couldn't close the shower door, so you would get water everywhere. There was so much missing that we didn't even want to bother with the staff. We took of before time instead to another place. You have to write the truth about this place and don't mention this as a small castle, when its just a small concrete home on a mountain slope! ABSOLUTELY no value for you money. Friendly and helpful staff however, so it can reach just 1 star.
