This is a surprising place to rent. The apartment has a super location and a very, very beautiful view over the green terraces across the terrace.
Lies at the top of the city, so don't be walking impaired, but you do get everything. Washing machine, beautifully decorated bathrooms, good beds, air conditioning, recently renovated rooms and floors and a terrace, which makes a difference.

Best of it all is that you outside your doorstep and directly go into one of Cinque Terres best restaurants. Traktorra Dal Billy. You wont find anything better. Cheap appetizer - 12 dish anti-pasta. NEVER miss it. Price is 120 DDK. It is like the angels are singing. We have eaten at quite a bit of Michelin restaurants, and it can't be said that it is at that level, but it is only because of minor things like the service, which is more down to earth, more calm, there can be some time before you get seated, you can get a bad place to sit. But the food is definitely comparable... We of course didn't taste the all the dishes. But we came back twice with train - from a town a bit away. We had too see if it was true. It was fantastic!!! Remember to book a table and drop the whole "sitting outside" thing. It isn't the best seats. The best are located in the never renovated part of the restaurant with a "wall" in the back of the room.

There isn't a beach to bathe at. So don't go bathing with small children. The current is too strong and you have to bare careful of the powerful wind. Many people bathe from the cliffs, but the current can be uncomfortable. On calm days, however, an adult can definitely bathe and there is a steel ladder 2 places.

Recommendations for future guests

Visit Traktorra Dal Billy. It is a must and I can only repeat it:

This is a wonderful apartment with a fantastic view. It has 2 separate rooms, which each has a toilet and bath, who both join in the kitchen and out to the newly made, big terrace. It was ideal for us, since we had our grown daughter with us on vacation. Even though we had to go up a lot of stairs before reaching the apartment, it was worth it. With a good A/C. And then this view. We sat and enjoyed the dinner each night at sunset, and for breakfast we followed the life down in the down, until the sun hit the terrace around 2. It gets 5 stars because the apartment is very well decorated and the view. We don't think the review should suffer because you have to walk up the many stairs. For us it was just good exercise and we were made aware of it before we rented the place. Thank you a lot for a couple of wonderful weeks.

Recommendations for future guests

We bought a week ticket for the train (12 euro) and went to Levanto, which has a wonderful beach, and get a parasol. It is cheaper than renting a sunbed. In the town we also shopped for meat. The train takes about 20 min, and it takes around 10 to walk to the beach.

The apartment is clean and neat. It has two bright rooms. It would have been nice with 2 arm-chairs and not only one.
The terrace has a great view, but need to be well-maintained.

Recommendations for future guests

The fish restaurant just beside the apartment is not worth visiting. The food is a bit boring compared to the price.
Hiking in Cinque Terre is wonderful and we can recommend the route between Manarola and Cognelia
