All the apartments have very spacious terraces and sea views. It only takes approx. 15 minutes to drive to Sestri Levante from here which is one of the most charming and friendliest towns in Liguria, and also it is just 5 minutes from Moneglia where there is a good beach.
A spectacular panorama
Cielo e Mare literally means "sea and sky" and this is pretty much what you see from the amazing hillside position of the apartments, the view really is heaven! The road up from Moneglia is about. 2 km long. It is steep and winding, but it is paved and in good condition so there is no problem, unless you suffer from vertigo. There are no shops in Lemeglio so remember to do some shopping in Moneglia. The nearest restaurant is on the way up the hill, otherwise there are many restaurants in Moneglia, as well as in the small mountain villages around.

Rooftop terrace and free parking
The apartments are located in the same building on 4 floors. Because the apartment building is built on the slope, the apartments on the lower floors do not have views/windows to the rear. At the top there is a large communal roof terrace where the views are even more amazing with a unique view towards Moneglia. There is one free parking space for each apartment which is allocated on arrival but there is not much space so it's better for smaller cars. There is a bus stop right outside the door and buses pass at least once an hour during the peak summer season. Cielo e Mare is not recommended for people with walking difficulties, due to the large differences in the ground levels.
Nicely furnished apartments
The house was completely renovated in 2006, when it also was arranged into 8 apartments (2 are rented out to other sources). There is an elevator in the building which goes to all floors except the roof terrace. To reach the terrace you have to take the stairs from the second floor. The apartments are very nicely furnished and have many amenities. The decor is typically Italian so not necessarily cosy - but the functionality is top notch.
Good facilities
Each apartment has an intercom, air conditioning / heating, a safety deposit box, internet access, a telephone, satellite TV, CD and DVD player, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave, a 3-electric hob for cooking and a fridge freezer. Almost all apartments have very large terraces where there is a table and chairs, and with blinds to shield from the sun. Some apartments also have a small balcony facing Moneglia. Although the terraces are large, they are actually one big terrace on each floor separated from the other apartment's space by low planters. So whilst there is a private area for each apartment, one should expect to see and hear their neighbours.
