You will find the Hotel La Vigna in the small community of San Saturnino, and from here you can easily get down to the centre of Moneglia for town life and the sandy beach. The hotel has free parking on site and also has a discount agreement with a parking lot down in Moneglia, making the train journey to the Cinque Terre National Park and beach trips easier.
Hotel La Vigna has its own restaurant with panoramic views, where you can either eat a la carte or book half board, payable on site. Half-board includes four dishes that are based on local and Italian cuisine. The restaurant is also open to outside guests. The breakfast is a buffet, and often you can also enjoy a light lunch in the restaurant. If you wish to try other restaurants, there is a trattoria (Trattoria Pagliettini) just 2 km away in the small community of Comeglio and otherwise Moneglia (about 3 km) has a choice of eateries.
In addition to the reception and bar the hotel also has elevator and laundry services (surcharges). The pool is just for guests to use, and offers peace and tranquillity. Pick your sun lounger and simply relax! Around the pool is some pretty wisteria and a stone setting with a small waterfall. It's easy to get in and out of the water as the pool has an access staircase, and even a built-in bench.
These 4 rooms all have balconies and sea views. Some of the rooms have sea views from the side and to the other side you can see a small piece of motorway (about 200 m away). Four of the rooms are on the first floor and have a terrace but then a little less view compared to the rooms on the higher floor. They all have air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a safety deposit box, a small refrigerator (in some) and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. Two of the rooms can accommodate three people, while the remaining rooms can accommodate two people. The rooms have all been modernized.
We lived here one night. It lies up on the mountain with pool, and big, lovely, bright rooms.
Since it is in the mountains, they roads are twisty, and the restaurant is very good. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a whole day of driving.
I can imagine us staying here a couple of nights the next time we are visiting Italy.
Family owned hotel, which is lovely and has a fantastic location. Incredibly sweet pub.
