Casa dei Limoni is set amidst lemon groves in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Monterosso. It offers bed and breakfast in rooms with designer decor and lovely views down to the town and the sea from the elegant terrace. A house like this is a rarity in these parts.
The old farmhouse house has been lovingly restored with great care and attention to detail. All the furniture has been purchased from reputable designers. The owners produce lemon marmalade made from the lemons grown on their land, not to mention their delicious liquors 'Limoncello and Arancino'.
The house is situated by the side of a hiking trail and a babbling brook which is convenient if you like to go hiking and exploring. Similarly, if you just want a short stroll to shops and restaurants, these are only 200 metres down the road in the centre of Monterosso. The train station is approx. 500 metres away. You cannot park right outside the house, but nearby.

The breakfast buffet is served indoors in the breakfast room in the cooler months and outside on the terrace during the summer. There are also sun loungers on the terrace which you can use anytime. From here there are lovely views over the old town and the sea. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and includes eggs and salami, fresh cheese, ham, bread etc. There are six rooms on the ground and first floor, there is no lift.
The garden is beautifully lit at night and there is a lovely ambience here. Note that it is not possible to enjoy your own or purchased food and drinks on the common terrace or in the lemon grove, but at the Casa dei Limoni you can buy drinks, sandwiches and antipasti (a la cheese and ham) at very affordable prices. There is no restaurant on site, so the hosts will not be able to cook pasta or other hot dishes.
These two rooms are on the first floor and have modern furnishings, air conditioning, telephone, safety deposit box, kettle, wi-fi, satellite-TV (flat screen TV), bathroom with toilet, hair dryer and shower. The rooms have views to the sea, lemon grove and Monterosso Old Town. Extra bed or cot is not possible here - and these rooms do not have refrigerators. These rooms are not suitable for long-term stays, as they are not so spacious.

One suite is on the first floor and the other on the second floor (with separate entrance from outside) and have furnished balconies overlooking the sea, lemon grove and Monterosso Old Town. There is a possibility for an extra bed (for a child or an adult) so it is a good solution for families: A Deluxe with balcony and one of the Junior Suites are both on the second floor with an external entrance where the balconies are joined.
