The popular coastal resorts of Pietra Ligure, Finale Ligure and Loano are all within striking distance and Genoa is just an hour away.
You will receive a warm welcome from the sisters Patrizia and Maura who run Casa Santi. The house has been owned by the Santi family for generations. In 2006 they decided to add a total of five apartments, and Casa Santi opened in spring 2007 after an extensive renovation. Patrizia lives on the ground floor and she is happy to give you good advice for an unforgettable vacation.

You will find the location most pleasant amongst the vineyards on the outskirts of the village of Ranzi, yet convenient to find being just 2 km from the motorway exit (there is at times some traffic noise). The popular beach town of Pietra Ligure is just 4 km away, so in short, Casa Santi is an incredibly good starting point for those who want accommodation in a countryside location, and yet want to take advantage of the exciting places to visit in Liguria and be near the beach without having to spend too much time travelling. Ranzi is within walking distance (max. 1 km) and you will find a grocery store selling fresh bread, a restaurant and a trattoria which also makes pizzas.
There is a swimming pool shared amongst just five apartments with a nice terrace. From the terrace you can enjoy really nice views of the blue sea and the coast and make this a haven for relaxing days in between exploring days. There are many hiking trails in this area as it is a popular spot for hikers and bikers, perhaps take a trek along the trails and enjoy some amazing panoramic spots along the way.
The sisters have developed a nice added touch with the wellness centre where you can enjoy a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath and a jacuzzi. The area is open from 15:00 to 19:00 and there is a surcharge for use of these facilities (either per day or priced per week) - and you will receive a towel, bathrobe and slippers.
All apartments are very tastefully decorated and have a balcony and / or terrace with sea views, air conditioning, satellite TV, ADSL WI-FI, washing machine, two burner stove, oven, fridge / freezer, iron, a safety deposit box and a bathroom with shower or a bath, toilet and hairdryer. There is a strong emphasis on design, quality, choice of colours and especially the choice of fabrics, as well as the small details that give the place its unique character. The house is at the end of a small cul de sac and offers free parking (1 space for each apartment).
Mimosa is located on the 2nd floor. It includes a kitchen / living room with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a skylight, bathroom with shower and toilet, balcony and large terrace with sea views.
Olivio is located on the first floor. It includes a kitchen / living room with a double sofa bed, a balcony and a terrace with sea views, a bedroom with a double bed and a private bath with shower, a bedroom with two single beds which can be joined to make a double bed and a bathroom with a bath and toilet.
Rosmarino is located on the first floor. It consists of a large kitchen / living room with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a toilet and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a balcony and terrace with sea views.
Basilico is located on the ground floor and consists of a kitchen/living room with a double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a bathroom with a bath, a toilet and two terraces with sea views.
Limone is located on the 2nd floor and consists of a kitchen / living room with a double sofa bed and a small balcony with a sea view, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
We felt very comfortable from the beginning. Fantastic location with wonderful views to the sea. The apartment is lovely furnished and the large balcony is a dream.
Our children also very often used the pool, a bit cold, but very clean.
Bathing in the sea was already possible, but the water was very cold.
