Pompeiana set back from the Ligurian coastal towns. Here at 200 metres above sea level there is a fine view of the sea, the mountain slopes and the seaside resort of Riva Ligure. Pompeiana is a typical medieval village built on terraces on the Ligurian hillsides. With Monte San Bernardo in the background, the town sheltered, and this favourable location means that it benefits from a cooling breeze in the summer, whilst the climate in the winter months remain mild.
In Pompeiana you can find both tennis courts, a post office, a pharmacy, a bar and two restaurants, so despite its small size, the town has all the necessities and the weekly market day is Tuesday - until noon. In addition it is only approx. 3 km to Castellaro Golf Resort with a 9 hole golf course.

The beaches of Riva Ligure (pebble) are approx. 4km away but only approx. 2km away on foot.
