This original monastery is a 17th Century elegant building that has been recently renovated. It is in a really wonderful location overlooking the bay of Rapallo and the famous Via Mazzini is just a few hundred metres away along with many restaurants, bars and cafes.
The site operates as a hotel which means that there is cleaning every other day, and it has all the facilities that one would expect with a hotel. Usually you will find the owner Manuela at the reception who makes every effort to welcome the guests. Note that if you book a garage you will be assigned one parking space approx. 250 metres from the Residence Il Convento.

Residence Il Convento got its name because it is housed in an original monastery. There is a small reception desk and seating area with wicker furniture and stairs to the first floor, where there is a bar, a breakfast room where you can order breakfast for a surcharge). The decoration is very rustic and from here there is a small terrace with views of the harbour. The elevator can be found on the 1st floor.
The apartments are spread over a total of 3 floors, and because of the building's age and the fact that the original walls could not be moved during the conversion, the apartments are all very different in size and design. Some apartments have a small cabinet kitchen, so they cannot be seen, whilst others have regular kitchen in various sizes.
All apartments are nicely but simply furnished and have air conditioning, a telephone, satellite TV, a safety deposit box, a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator and a dishwasher. All apartments have a bathroom with a shower or bath, a hairdryer and toiletries.
