Rocchetta Nervina has persevered its medieval appearance and the characteristic defense system with a portcullis and two arched bridges, that connect the city with access to the road.
The place is located a little further away from the coast, but has it an ideal climate, not too hot in summer and not too cold in winter. The summers are quiet here as the village is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The landscape allows itself to go for a simple walk or a strenuous multi-day hike. There are several restaurants in the village: two restaurants and a tavern.
