You are almost guaranteed a successful summer holiday on the Italian Riviera in Liguria when you choose to stay in San Bartolomeo al Mare. There will not be a boring moment here, and the area is replete with exciting excursion opportunities. San Bartolomeo's neighboring cities are within walking distance only 1-2 km away. If you are looking for more restaurants and night life head over to Diano Marina, while Cervo on the other hand is a fascinating and atmospheric coastal town whose pastel colored houses are clinging to a cliff top.
Hotel La Marina is situated in a side street that connects the sea front with the coastal road Via Aurelia. The hotel is facing Via Aurelia, but lies on the sea side of the road. All the rooms have double glazed windows and only a few of the rooms face the road. The beach is approx. 150 meters away and the nearest shop is even closer. The hotel has a discount deal with three different lidos and you can always choose the public beach if you don't want beach service like sun loungers and parasols.
The hotel has a great bar with a separate entrance on Via Aurelia. Additionally you will find a restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, so you barely have to move when the hunger kicks in. The restaurant is bright and inviting and as it's open for external guests you're almost guaranteed a great atmosphere. The meals are either served as a buffet or á la carte at the table. On warm summer days the big windows are opened and it feels like you're sitting outdoors. You will also find a reception, an elevator and Wi-Fi (great coverage) at Hotel La Marina.
These rooms all have balconies and most of them face the side road Via Moreno - some face Via Aurelia and others face in towards the internal square. The balconies are usually fairly spacious (see photo). Some of the rooms also have aircondition (daily fee if used), Wi-Fi, lcd-tv with satelite channels, minibar, safe and a bathroom with a toilet, shower and hairdryer. The hotel also has three four-bed rooms with a French balcony facing Via Aurelia. The two spare beds are not bunk beds.
