Here in the hills on the outskirts of San Bartolomeo al Mare you will feel at home quickly. Despite the motorway being very close by you will not hear or notice it from Residence Il Borgo della Rovere. The surroundings are serene and in the summer the place is replete with a relaxed atmosphere.
Where are we?
The answer is a part of the sea side town San Bartolomeo al Mare called Rovero along the Italian Riviera. The sea and the beach are both within walking distance (about 800 meters), and Residence Il Borgo della Rovere has a discount deal with lido Bagni Medusa so you can get beach service (sun loungers and parasol) at a decent price. You may even leave the car when you go to the beach. Stroll down to the beach promenade, where you can find many shops and various restaurants. If you like a more idyllic setting we recommend a visit to Cervo, which is only 2 km away towards the east, while Diano Marina with it's bigger selection of shops is also only 2 km away. The nearest supermarket is only 500 meters away. Another reason to leave the car at the resort is the shuttle service (free of charge) which runs at scheduled times to the beach.
Many excellent facilities for you and the family
You will find the pool area on the opposite side of the quiet, residential street, with two pools; a swimming pool and a children's pool, which is shared with the guests of the neighboring resort. In high season, you can buy drinks, ice cream and a light lunch by the pool. The restaurant "La Femme" has beautiful views over the pool and the surrounding area, and offers tasty sea food as well as more "earthy" dishes. A well-stocked wine list complements the selection. Next to the pool and the restaurant there is a tennis court and a playground for the children, as well as a laundry and ironing room.
