Sanremo is located between Ventimiglia and Imperia. This area has a unique climate that is particularly suited to growing the most beautiful flowers which have incidentally become a trademark of the town.
However, Sanremo is best known for hosting Italy’s national music festival, Il festival della canzone italiana. Sanremo also has a thriving economy built mainly on mass tourism and offers it's visitors various shows and entertainment all year round. It also offers culture, sports; fishing, diving, windsurfing, golf, horse riding and much more.
It is also a great place for cycling as there is a long path running along the beach which connects Sanremo with it's neighbouring towns and cities.
