It is proud of its beautiful Baroque Church in classic Ligurian pastel colours. The town also has a couple of restaurants, a grocery store and a charcuterie.
The town is just 7 km from the motorway up in the hills away from the coast. It is about 6 km North of Genoa with a population of around 6000 residents.
