I am very disappointed and sad after my stay at this hotel, whose performance is far from 4 starred. First and foremost I had a phone conversation with one of your employees (Claudia?), where I got convinced to relax a bit on the view of the sea, in return for a more spacious room in the old building. When I arrived, it was to a room, where the view of the sea scarcely could be seen through the trees, and the decoration were from the 1960's. Really unfortunate. I complained to the reception, who said, that these rooms belong to your agency. There was nothing in the room - no menu from the restaurant, not a piece of paper, not even a pen or a list of TV-channels. Just a single armchair, a tub with a shower curtain! Even the gel for the bath was too sparse.
The pool with seawater is actually of a minimal size, difficult to get to and a bit isolated! The prices on the garden recliners are higher than the place claim, and also higher than what your agency advertises.
All this is far from worth spending 250 Euro a night on.
I travel quite often, and it's actually the first time, I meet such a huge difference on, what you can expect, compared to, what you actually get.
You probably understands, that after this experience, I am not going to book a trip through you again.

Dear Claude We are always incredibly sad to get negative comments. What pleases us most, is when guests return and describe their memories of the stay, so it can be of benefit to others. Your tedious experience has affected us a lot, and we hope, that we can answer you, concerning certain things. You've also received an email from us in that connection. When you ordered your trip, you asked specifically for a view of the sea. Unfortunately, the hotel could not confirm the booking of such a room, two weeks before your stay. So I called you, to tell you, that there was only one room left, without view of the sea, in the old part of the hotel. I emphasised carefully, that we only had "old" rooms available. The purpose of my call was not first and foremost to explain to you the exchange of the rooms, that was implied. You accepted this room. Your descriptions of the decoration does not surprise us that much, since we describe the furniture as "old" and the decorations as "traditional", ourselves. We have informed the hotel of the price difference, you write of. We would like to know the exact amount, you have been charged, as we have written to you in the email.
