You step out of the Hotel Metropole right into the middle of Bellagio's historic centre and on the shores of Lake Como. It almost feels like it is floating on the lake! It is the only hotel on this side of the road on the actual lake shore, and to the rear of the hotel there are steps going up to Bellagio's vibrant centre where there are shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The towns small ferry berth is located next to the hotel so one can expect a little activity and noise from here, but at the same time it is quite interesting and authentic. In this sense, you are conveniently placed to take boat trips across the lake to visit many other charming lakeside towns. You can use public parking approx. 50 - 200 metres from the hotel.
